What is general anxiety disorder
Generalized anxiety disorder is severe, ongoing anxiety that interferes with daily activities. For example you may out of nowhere start sensing something is wrong or something bad is about to happen even when you are aware that everything is okay.
This is a fairly serious disorder that can be caused genetically or by environmental factors but what is more important is how to deal with it.
It’s not easy to live with this heavy feeling in your chest all the time pause for a second and take a deep breath everything will be okay.
What are the symptoms?
1. Worrying a lot
2. Sleeplessness
3. Overthinking
4. Muscle tension
5. Heart racing
6. Sweating
These are just some of the examples and of course like any other disorder, the symptoms are very subjective.
Coping mechanisms
Here is a short list of coping mechanisms that might help you better deal with General Anxiety Disorder.
1. Eating healthy
2. Join a support group
3. Avoid alcohol, smoking, drugs
4. Avoid coffee
5. Make a proper sleep routine
