What is the buddy programme?
Another translation of the Buddy Programme could be peer-to-peer support. It is a programme that provides you a buddy of the same teenage age group, who is there for the sole purpose of helping you grow and feel supported and vice versa as well.
​How do I sign up for the buddy programme?
To sign up to be a buddy, you can click here. You will have to fill out certain details about yourself, what you have to offer and what do you seek in your buddy. After which you will get a mail to join a text chain with a buddy that is suitable for you. You may or may not accept that buddy, it's on you. The same process goes for groups and communities.
What sort of help can I get here?
Anything but professional help. This project does not endorse nor promote the availability of professional help in the form of buddies, groups or communities. You can get help for your day-to-day struggles that you think could be eased if only you had someone to talk to. It gives an open sense of understanding and support.
Can confidentiality be guaranteed from the buddy and the company’s end if I ask for my information to not be revealed?
If you choose to not disclose your information, we guarantee that it will not be revealed from our end. On the other hand, this does not extend to you disclosing your private information during a conversation, your buddy finding out or coming across or figuring out your information. Remember, you are in control of what you give away.
What are the means of communications available with my assigned person?
The only means of communication with the buddy is chat. On the other hand groups and communities have the option of chatting, video calling (as a group) and meeting in person.
If I wish to switch the person I have been paired with, would it be possible?
Yes, a simple mail or reach out to us on any platform and we would assist you with the same. It's that simple.
Will I be paired with one person throughout my duration?
Yes, you will be paired with only one person throughout the duration. Although you can change your buddy on the grounds of incompatibility, not feeling supported, and violation of personal space and boundaries.
Can I be a buddy to only one person?
You can volunteer to be a buddy to as many people as possible by you. Be sure that you are ready to take on the commitment you've promised.
What can be done in case the person I have been paired with is unavailable and I still require someone to talk to?
If this occurs more than once, you can switch your buddy on the grounds of incompatibility.

Would I have to reveal my identity to the other person?
Not necessarily, it is completely your choice what you wish to disclose.
Can I report the buddy in case of any sort of misbehaviour?
Yes. We would urge you to take action to the earliest in the case of misbehavior and report to us.
