Narcissist Personality disorder

What is narcissistic personality disorder?

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health disorder where a person has unreasonably high standard of themselves or even keep themselves on a pedestal. They have a desire to seek attention and admiration.

People with NDP aren’t bad people this behavior of self-admiration, talent, beauty, power is not something they believe in but rather something they admire or want this comes from some form of deep rooted trauma.

Signs of NDP

• Grandiose sense of self-importance.

• Lives in a fantasy world that supports their delusions of grandeur.

• Needs constant praise and admiration.

• Sense of entitlement.

• Exploits others without guilt or shame.

• Frequently demeans, intimidates, bullies, or belittles others.

How does NDP affect a person?

People with NPD often seem to be stuck at a low level of EQ despite their age, and their experiences haven't made them wiser. The pain of being separate from the richness of families, communities, strong relationships and deep friendships is often isolating and difficult for them. They feel like they act strangely, that they don’t fit in.

At the end of the day no matter how selfish or mightier than thy, they might act they still love and care for people.
